At the Salone del Mobile, at the Workplace3.0 pavilions, Stipa sets up the exhibition / event A Joyful Sense at Work, curated by arch. Cristiana Cutrona and designed by four architectural practices of international renown and standing: Studio O+A by Primo Orpilla and Verda Alexander (USA), Ahmadi Studio by Arash Ahmadi (Iran), UNStudio by Ben van Berkel and SCAPE by Jeff Povlo (Holland) and Studio 5+1AA by A. Femia and G. Peluffo (Italy).

The purpose of A Joyful Sense at Work, thought up and designed by Arch. Cristiana Cutrona, is to breathe new life into the theory of office and workplace design by setting its sights squarely on people, in terms of their needs, emotions and experiences. "The workplace of the future will be adaptive, unfinished, vibrant and evolutionary, tailored to reality and capable of accommodating the comings and goings and needs of the workers and the way in which they use it. Technology and furnishings will move with and around people, meeting their needs the moment they arise."

Four architectural practices of international renown and standing, chosen on the basis of geographic area of provenance, have been invited to design “an installation within an installation” in order to have a different point of views: not only one protagonist but the deep thought of four designers who have accepted to decline the concept launched by the event curator Mrs. Cristiana Cutrona.

Within an area of around 1,600 sqm, A Joyful Sense at Work showcases this new concept of the workplace by creating a piazza virtually split into three “areas” or “regions” according to purpose: the concentration area, the Sharing, the Creative all converging into a large central piazza, and Porous Fabric, a filter space, an intermediate area between public and private, a place for opportunities and exchange. The four installations are connected through interactive and dynamic “fluid areas” where objects will move with and around people and react to the presence of visitors.

It is a great recognition for Stipa to set up high – end stands and to collaborate with prestigious architects.
