At MIDO 2026, the leading international eyewear and eyewear trade show, STIPA, commissioned by the IES Organizing Secretariat and designed by Studio Cavalletti & Pagliariccio, is creating the scenic exhibition "The Lens of Time," promoted by ANFAO. This cultural journey showcases Italian eyewear as a manufacturing excellence that expresses identity, creativity, and savoir-faire.
In the exhibition area of over 300 square meters, a large ring suspended in mid-air, symbolizing the flow of time, presents prestigious eyewear. Around it, like a galaxy, are special pieces from private collections and the Eyewear Museum.
At the center, an exhibition table guides visitors through manuscripts, ancient artifacts, and historical materials.
In the outermost section, multimedia islands showcase the different eras with videos and insights, and a front totem marks a symbolic threshold, gathering historical insights and the exhibition's visual colophon.
A circular filter of soft, semi-transparent black curtains envelops the space, a blend of anticipation and discovery.
Stipa prides itself on creating a scenographic space suspended in time, where history, design, and innovation interact in a seamless journey.
