425 exhibit brands, among which 16% foreign brands; on top of these figures, 170 young students from 22 countries and 39 Independent designers, more than 60.000 visitors coming from 113 countries (more than 50% were buyers). A successful result thanks to a great teamwork and to the attractiveness of a new and modern exhibit layout.
A concept from the Archi star Stefano Boeri and his team: a big library of the design, an innovative and open exhibit system where visitors were free to move around the aisles. Each company had the opportunity to customize the space and display product novelties.
Stipa put out his experience and skills at Stefano Boeari and his team’s service, and at other co-players as Andrea Caputo, Maria Cristina Didero, Giorgio Donà, Anniina Koivu, Studio Folder (Marco Ferrari e Elisa Pasqual), Lukas Wegwerth.
Appointed by the organizing secretariat of the Salone del Mobile, Stipa set-up most of the exhibition areas and some of the common areas, including the arenas, the IBL lounge and the meeting areas.
Furthermore, the customization of some exhibiting companies’ area, such as Artemide, Lago, Flexform and Potocco, is also made by Stipa.
Above all, SuperSalone has been a model for sustainability capable of calculating and neutralizing its own climatic footprint: the thousand cubic meters of recycled wood were designed with a circularity view to be subsequently reused, avoiding the release of 553.000 kilos of C02.
The above features have led to the fulfilment of a proudly made in Italy "miracle"; courage, desire entrepreneurs’ will to get involved, and the almost unexpected success: an edition initially thought as a bridge to a re-start, turned out to be the fundamental aspect of a new begin. The exhibition industry has then rediscovered its enthusiasm for important events such as Cersaie, Cibus, Cosmofarma, Micam, Macfrut and Expodental where Stipa has accompanied its customers with successful fittings.
